Scam

I woke up to a text saying my parcel will be delivered today. So I checked where it was coming from and it was sky. So I checked my sky app and apparently I have an iPhone 15 pro max being delivered even tho I never ordered any new device from you. I just got an iPhone 14 Pro a few months ago

@Jordan94
We are fellow customers on here so you’re not contacting Sky Customer Services by posting on the forum. Give Sky a call asap by dialling 150 from your current device and they can advise you as to whether to accept the delivery and then return it to Sky or refuse delivery and hope it gets back to Sky.

Did you receive any calls claiming to be from 'your mobile provider' saying they could reduce your bills & that you'd receive a gift? If yes did they ask for username & password to process the bill reduction? If yes to both then this is a known scam & is how the phone has been ordered. You'll receive another call once delivered claiming you've been sent the incorrect gift & that you're to send it to a certain address - don't as this is a scammer safe home where they'll then send the phone on to the scammers & you'll not only never see this 'gift' but you'll have to pay for the phone.
You need to contact Sky immediately & to change your password on your Sky account.

Re: Scam

i had a very similar experience, callers claiming to be sky, then a call to say there had been an error and not to use my account for 48 hours , this was scammers adding 2 iphone 15 pro devices and contracts  to my account, now in process of sorting the aftermath of this.

If you get called by 0330 endind in 963 offering discount etc , this is fraudulent scamming. adress associated with this to send the scammed devices back to is

@jeffy

Ten seconds on Google would indicate that's a residential address.

Re: Scam

I experienced the same yesterday, I received a call out of the blue from a London number with a woman claiming to be from sky saying as a loyal customer and having paid my bills on time I'm being given a special offer of half price bills, mobile,tv and broadband all for a single payment of £42 per month, the call quickly switched to a fast talking foreign bloke without warning who kept repeating about the special offer and that my bills would be half price £42 per month for everything and I would get a copy of everything I agreed to in the post, he then said as a thank you for being a loyal customer I'm also entitled to a free gift what device do I use apple or android, apple I said so he said I will get a free Apple Watch with free plan what colour would I like, gold I said, then he kept going over the half price offer on all my bills again and asked if I had any questions, then emails started arriving about an order placed for an iPhone 15 worth £14388 , at £42 per month which I didn't order or agree to , that was the obvious give away as I was certain I was being offered a free watch not a new iPhone contract which I would have to pay for, a clever scam stay safe guys

Re: Scam

I have been contacted by this scam too.

the telephone number they called from is (Removed)

they called to reduce my bills by 40% and that as a loyal customer I get a gift.

when everything arrived, there was something different in the delivery and as opposed to a watch, was 2 iPhone 16's and a pair of AirPods which wasn't expected. I then received a call saying if I had received the parcel which I confirmed I had and they then said they would help get my watch setup. I said I didn't have a watch, they said it must have got mixed up and got a for driver to collect the phones and AirPods. As it was late at night when they came to collect the phones, we decided not to hand them over and will contact sky in the morning.

my account now also has both phones being charged for which I need to rectify.
