SIM to eSIM Query

I wish to get a new iPhone which uses eSIM. I want to keep my existing number and plan. Can I just switch my plan and number to the eSIM, when I have the new phone? So rather than putting my physical SIM into the new phone it all ports to the eSIM?

Hi @Sirmac  yes provided the new phone is from sky and esim compatible then you can convert the physical sim to an esim. Make sure you don't order/activate a new sim with the new phone as that will have a new number.

@Sirmac  Yes, when you upgrade don't add a new data plan, once you have the new deivce go to the sim management section of your mobile account and convert existing sim to esim.
