Roll over data

I have quite a bit of data which rolls over from my

mobile account. Do Sky do a data only sim I could use in my sim router at my caravan? I'm currently using EE and buffering so much, the programmes can sometimes be unwatchable.

@Darbz  No they don't, if you don't use data regularly you may wish to choose a package with a lower monthly data allowance to reduce costs

Sky doesn't do a data only plan but they do sometimes do a 100mb one which is a tiny amount of data that can be free for up to a year so if this is available and showing on your account you could order that and used saved data from the piggybank from it. If you have a lot of saved data as you are not using it all each month then you could be on a data plan that is to much for what you need.

Re: Roll over data

That's a shame. I have 0.53TB of data available which would be ideal to use at the caravan and would hopefully not buffer as much as it does now. Back to the drawing board I guess.

Hi @Darbz  if you are accruing that much data it will be worth dropping to the minimum plan available in your account then using your data to top up, save you some money.

Re: Roll over data

Would this sim be able to be used in my router? If it could, as you say, I could keep topping it up with my accrued data.

Any sky sim that has a data package attached should work in your router and can be topped up from your piggybank @Darbz  you may need to manually enter the APN settings but you won't know until you put the sim in.
