Roaming issue

My dat roaming is off  whiskr i am abroad and still get roaming pass activation messages despite having a local eSim. Am I missing a setting that will prevent that from happening and being charged for a roaming pass? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Roaming charges can be triggered by data, calls or texts.

 

Clearly your Sky SIM is connecting to the cellular service but shouldn't be charged unless there is actual usage.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
