Roaming isn’t working Spain

Come to Spain, my data is not working at all, no calls nothing. I have my roaming on etc and tried the stuff they said to do online but still not working (currently using hotel WiFi) I never had this issue last year and I came to the same place and I have the same contract

Hi @Shannon61  this does come up quite often here. A couple of months back when this happened to me I turned off automatic network selection in my phone settings then I did a manual search and selected from the list that came up.

You a dependant on the local telco's accepting a recharge to Sky.  Service is not guaranteed when roaming.

Thanks for the comments, interestingly, me and my partner have sims on the same contract, we both had this issue when we landed, hers has now resolved itself after 6 hours and she is connected to to 'OrangeSky' but when I try to manually connect to that network, it says the Sim can't be used with that network - very odd!

Most providers have multiple roaming partners, I think you should look in your settings and try to manually select a different roaming partner (likely that you can also select Orange but it didn't automatically conenct to them)

If you google it there should be steps on how to do this specific to your device, but prob something you can do within 1 min
