Roaming charges

I am currently in Tunisia. I turned mobile data off and set spending caps to both mine and my daughters phones. One sim has racked up a £200 bill but the other hasn't. The spend cap was on ahead of arriving here. Any idea how this has happened?
thanks

Hi @NP221  if you didn't turn off mobile data and roaming then turning on flight mode before leaving the UK then the phone will have connected to the local network and started using data. If you are sure spending caps were set for all individual sims then you will need to dispute the charges with sky when you return to the UK.

Re: Roaming charges

I have had these texts when I first arrived which said a spend caps was put in place.  But have since checked my future estimated bill which is £200 more

The picture will show after moderation @NP221   Have you checked each sim in the account for the caps ? Each sim will have its own.

Re: Roaming charges

Yes checked both sims. One has £200 and the other £0.
both had £0 caps applied by me before leaving the UK, then received texts when landing saying it had changed to £45. Wasn't able to send messages until in WiFi and when WiFi disconnects phone doesn't work

Did you set it at £0 @NP221  or was it turned off ? Looks like you will need to dispute this with sky when you return to the UK.

Re: Roaming charges

Yes I set it at £0. When checking my usage it says £200 used on the 17th which is the day I arrived and nothing since.
useless - what is the point in having spend caps if they don't stick to them. And then putting their own spend caps on and it still exceeding that

I think you should have a good argument for getting these charges reversed @NP221
