Returning an inactive SIM card and data plan

I bought a new phone with a data plan and new SIM card. I have decided I don't want the SIM card and data plan. Can I return this as it has not been activated

If you don't activate it within 31 days @Fords then it will be cancelled and you will not be charged for it.
