Return / Laptop Contract

Not sure if this is in the right place but I've got a laptop from sky told them I want to return it within the 31 days and they have said I've got 14 days from when the packaging arrives to return, is it correct if I don't return within that 14 days my contract will just continue or is it cancelled now, as I've read in some places that if you don't return the contract will just continue, is this correct?.

Cancelling within the cooling off period requires the item to be returned (and checked) before the contract is terminated.

There may be deductions if the item has been used.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

Definitely read somewhere that if you keep the item once you've told them you wanna return the contract just continues as they give you 14 days to return it once the package arrives to return it in, could be wrong though.

@pool_master If you don't return it there are two possibilities, first one is the contract continues as normal(most likely outcome), the second one is Sky bill you for the full amount as they have already processed the cancellation and are just waiting or the device to be returned to finalise it(least likely outcome).
