Apple 16e & sky esim non compatability

Hi just had a replacment phone IP16E to replace Iphone 12 & had an issue with an esim, I use a 2nd line for business use but when I transferred the data from IP to IP the line dropped with a message 'no sim'.

Since then Sky have told me that the 16e is NOT compatible with Sky Esim & is not in their compatability list, (I checked after it isn't in there), has anyone found a work arounnd or had any success getting an esim to work?

Currently I am resigned to having to use just the one number.

@Betts1 If the esim from Sky is not compatible ask them to send you a physical sim, you can use both in the 16e(its only Dual esim on the USA versions)

Hi Dave, the 16e only has one slot for one physical sim, this is already in use as its my private number. The esim was for 2nd number (business).
