Remove data plan

One of my daughters will be out the country for the following 9 months but returning home at different intervals. I want to remove her data plan but keep her SIM active during this time. Is this possible? She will be going to Hong Kong so the Passport £2 day does not work and I don't want to have an astronomical bill.

What are the options?

Thanks

The only thing you can do is to take the sim out of the phone and leave it here while she picks up a local sim whilst out there to use. That way it will remain active as long as the bill on it continues to be paid.

If she wants to keep the phone number then there must be an active plan on it.   She could reduce it to the lowest available plan - data will accumulate in the piggy bank.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
