Refund

Why it so complicated to refund money for cancelled order ? I've got the email, that I will get refund in a 14 days, but left almost 1 month! still didn't get even a message about my refund. What's wrong?

If the reimbursement of the upfront charge hasn't happened yet you'll need to call Sky to chase it up. 

To call Sky dial 150 (free) from a Sky Talk landline or a Sky mobile or alternatively use this link:
https://www.sky.com/help/home
UK customers: Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and a dedicated 03** UK number is displayed.
ROI customers: change the flag in the bottom right corner of the link to the ROI flag then scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a dedicated ROI number.
(The forum doesn’t allow us to type the numbers in full).

There shouldn't be any need to manually pay the bill unless your account had been suspended so was this the case because if it was not then all you have done as you have discovered if to not pay the bill but to instead add a credit to it.

If you made a (unnecessary) manual payment then that is a credit against next month's bill and the current month processing still continues.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

As stated above there is no need to pay your bill manually as Sky will take it via the payment details you have set up on your account which will still happen. The credit can be refunded to you unless you want to leave it so it pays next months bill so if you want it refunded we can arrange some help for you via here if you want.

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.


This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears by typing it it to start the chat:

When the chat bubble does appear you will need to respond to it as soon as you can or it will be closed if there is no response within 48 hours. To start the conversation just type in it.
This isn't a live chat so replies may not be instant.
