Free Global Roaming for Sky VIP Diamond customers

Hi - does anyone know how long the free roaming lasts for? I'm a Diamond member and wanted to move my 2 mobile sims back to Sky because of this new offer, but was told on the phone that the free roaming to 120 countries only lasts 120 days from when I activate my Sky sims. That makes it much less attractive to me! I'm glad I checked as I had assumed the free roaming was forever.

Hi @PP95  it has been confirmed by sky that the information you were given is incorrect, there is no expiry date involved for Diamond VIP customers.

I wonder if that's a four month limit before the handset must be used on a UK/ROI network to reset a timer?

It wouldn't be unreasonable for a provider to be reluctant to subsidise an entire gap year of global travel, for example.
