Problems travelling in India
Travelling alone in India and did not want to put a spend cap in place as out of WiFi areas a lot. Sky have now stopped me from using my phone despite being in 4 or 5 g areas. How do I get access to let my family know I'm ok

Why do you say Sky have stopped you from using your phone, what is happening when you try to make a call ?

Re: Problems travelling in India
As it's very easy to spend hundreds or even thousands of pounds rather quickly at 'rest of the world' rates (£2.16 per megabyte, £2.16 per minute making a call, £1.80 per minute receiving a call) it would be irresponsible for any cellular company to offer such a facility without having limits.

Re: Problems travelling in India
It's saying they are unable to make the connection . I'm now thankfully for a day or two in an area with intermittent WiFi but thank you for responding. Kind regards

Next time that happens see if your phone will connect to a different network.
