Price increase 2024 (Changed your mix?)

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

I've had the dreaded notice of a price increase - ok, +£1 per plan.

However, it says 'If you recently signed up to a new minimum term or have changed your Mix on any of these phone number(s), the price changes won’t apply to those.'

I get the first part about a minimum term but it's the second part about 'changing mix' - does anyone know what this means exactly?  It's a bit generic.

Hi @PandJ2020  changing mix normally refers to changing from one data plan to another, eg from 2G to 6G plan. Perhaps they are indicating that by doing so the annual plan increase may be put off 🤷‍♂️

If someone has helped give them a thumbs up.

If their answer solved your issue mark it as the correct answer.

I won’t respond to direct messages so please post any problems on the forum.

I'm guessing that the increase has already been factored into the currently available plans?

But I did change some of my plans a few months ago - it doesn't specify any timeframe on the narrative...

If you go to your mysky and change your plan to one available just now then you will not receive a price increase as it is tied to the plan you are currently on.

Mixed mine over and my future billings all updated with no price change showing in February anymore.

@Mr--Jay Good call - I've now changed my mix, reduced my payments and increased my data... 😁
