Phone upgrade
I have an iphone through contract with sky - im due an upgrade very soon.
this handset has been replaced by apple due to an ex breaking the last one - if i was to send this back to Sky would the IMEI number be different to the one the contract was taken out with? And if so, is this going to cause me issues

Re: Phone upgrade
@SophFred23 It might cause a problem if you didn't mention the need of a replacement to sky in the first place rather than go to apple directly
if sky were informed and the replace was issued by apple on sky's behalf then you should be ok
thiis link may be of help

Re: Phone upgrade
Sky wouldn't do it as it was out of warranty so I took it to apple under the manufacture warranty or something and it was out of warranty by a couple of months so just paid them to fix it and they basically gave me a new handset as it wasn't fixable
what would my options be? Just pay sky off and not send them the phone back? My mams sending her phone in for trade but I don't think I need to do that as I'm close to it running out anyways

Re: Phone upgrade
@SophFred23 In that case you would need to buy a new product whilst paying off the remaining balance of the existing one
