Phone number comes up differently when I text

I switch from O2 to sky about four months ago, and it's been fine up till recently when I text people ask if I've got a new number or don't recognise me because my number is coming through as a different number

i've looked in settings and my number shows up as the other number and it won't let me save my actual number although if you call my actual number it comes through to my phone

Have you tried rebooting your phone then trying to change and save the number ?

Turned iMessage and FaceTime off then turn WiFi off and turned phone off and back on and then everything else back on and it's just the other number still showing up

Hi @Iphone1492  have you looked in settings, phone, my number and checked there (this is different to checking in messaging).

Yes in setting under "my number" it's the other number and it doesn't save when I try and change it

Hi @Iphone1492  it can take quite a few attempts to save so keep trying.
