Phone contract help

Hello. I've only got a month left on my contract. I'm planning on paying this off now and ordering a new phone.

when ordering the new phone do I need to pay the additional amount for the data plan/sim card etc or can I just carry on using my current sim or will it not exist anymore it I've paid the whole contract off if that makes sense?

don't really want to get a new number either as use it for work so it's too much hassle

The dataplan and device plans are separate.

Once the device plan is paid off then only the dataplan remains - it continues until you take action.

Therefore, simply order a new device and move the SIM from the old device.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

This is what is saying on my account - doesn't say about my sim plan? So if I pay the £29.50 it's not going to cancel my SIM card and it will carry on monthly?

sorry for being thick, just don't want to make a wrong move 🤣

The £29.50 is what is left to pay off against that device.

As stated above the sim is seperate so you will continue to pay this as you are doing now.
