Feel free to tell us more about this, did you cancel the sim before the minimum term of 12 months was up ?

Yes.... I had to cancel it due to the number already being distributed and was receiving 100's of messages and phone calls on a daily basis from all different people and businesses asking for somebody else. That is not my problem and I was not paying for a service to have been bom barded with calls and texts for someone else constantly all it did was interrupt my daily life and also my sleep as they would ring early hours of the morning. I do not appreciate being charged to cancel that sim card

So when you asked Sky to cancel it and they must have agreed to do this did they then order you another sim which will come with a different number ?

If you cancelled it whilst within the initial 12 month minimum term then the charge will be automatically added.  You need to speak directly to Sky about this.

 

All networks recycle numbers.
