Hey!
I was looking at getting the iPhone 14 Plus at the £28/month price, but I've got a couple of questions about it:
Can I choose to pay extra upfront to reduce the monthly cost?
With the 24 Month contract, from what I understand, I pay for 36 months, but I can upgrade after 24 months, or before 31 days have passed?
Thanks!

You have a 31 day cooling off period in which to change your mind. At 24 months the value of your phone should be enough to pay off the final 12 months of your contract so you can get a new phone. You can upgrade anytime after the first month but that would involve a serious charge which is added to your next bill to be paid in one go.
