Parental controls

Please can anyone help. I have parental controls on my mobile. Im 45years old. It says i need a credit card to take them off. I havent got a credit card. Only debit card and that doesnt work. I spoke to a very unhelpful lady who had me on the phone for aaages and kept saying the same things over and over again. I kept explaining that i dont have a credit card. She said she would escalate the problem and someone would be in touch via email but that was around 3 weeks ago now Has anyone had similar problem? Many thanks

@Juliebuble  It has to be a credit card (the reason is because anyone even under 18s can get a debit card, credit cards are only issued to over 18s) which doesn't have to be in your name it can be a friend's or family member's

alternately if you have a credit agreement with sky call them on 150 has they will know your over 18 and can remove them for you

Re: Parental controls

Thankyou for your reply. Its so frustrating. They have all my personal details and take my payment each month. The lady on the phone didnt say anything about a credit agreement and taking it off.

I definitely dont want to use someone elses credit card.

Ill ring them again tomorrow. Thanks again
