Paid off contract for returned phone

Last year I ordered two new mobile phones and arranged for the two we were using to be sent back and paid off the contract. For various reasons I haven't been able to check on my bill but it's still very high as it says I'm paying off a contract. Does anyone have any experience of this, please?

Hi @wurff  if the value of the returned devices doesn't cover what was owed on the contract then the difference must be paid. What valuation were you given ? Did it cover what you owed ? Did you get confirmation from sky that they received the returned phones ?

Hi, Thank you for your reply.

One of the phones had a low amount left so I just let it go but I paid £500 off the newer one. 

Unfortunately, I don't have all the emails that were sent, I've had a very difficult 12 to 18 months and have let a lot of things slip.

The contract for one phone was up in March but the other is still going and the info says there's still £90 plus to pay. 

All I have for definite is my cc statement, showing £500 payment!

If you think you have been overcharged you will need to call sky on 150 for help @wurff

Yeah, I thought as much but getting hold of anyone is like pulling hen's teeth!
