PAC code if I’m staying with Sky?

Hi there

I am a long term Sky customer and at the moment, I have a Sky phone with a PAYG SIM card. I've just bought a new Sky phone and contract SIM card from Sky. 
I want to keep my number - how do I do that? Do I ask for a PAC code from Sky to give it to Sky? That seems a bit daft? I have my new phone but not sure what to do with it. Thanks.

Sky doesn't do PAYG sim cards as they are all pay monthly so can you confirm what network this sim card is on ?
