Order Cancelled Without Reason – No Refund Received
Hi everyone,
I recently ordered a mobile phone from Sky Mobile and made the upfront payment. However, shortly after, I received an email saying that my order had been cancelled — but no reason was given.
The problem is that I haven’t received my refund yet. It has already been 10 days since the cancellation, and the money has not been returned to my account.
I’ve checked my bank and there’s no sign of any pending refund. Has anyone else experienced this with Sky Mobile? How long did it take for your refund to come through after a cancelled order?
Any advice on what I should do next would be really appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Order Cancelled Without Reason – No Refund Received
@Maroof The minimum wait is 14 days from cancellation so you still have 4 days left after which if it's not showing you will need to contact sky direct and chase the payment

Re: Order Cancelled Without Reason – No Refund Received
@Maroof
It’s likely you have failed one of the required credit check(s). For a sim deal it’s just a soft credit check, for a device there’s also an enhanced check.
If you contact Sky they would be able to confirm that’s the reason your order was cancelled but not why you failed the credit check in the first place as they are not allowed to view your credit record. You would have to sign up to a credit reference agency like Experian or Equifax, which would give you access to your credit record.
