Not registered on Network

My Samsung Galaxyphone can no longer make or receive calls or texts. The message "Not registered on network" is displayed.

I have followed all the trouble shooting steps detailed without any luck. Placing my wife's Tesco Sim in the phone enables it to make calls and send texts fine.

It seems a replacement SIM card is needed, but how do I order one please?

Thank you for your help.

Mark

Re: Not registered on Network

To answer my own question, I called Sky (using my wife's phone) when the departement re-opened this morning and a very helpful lady called Ann ordered a replacement SIM card for me.

Fingers crossed

Re: Not registered on Network

Hi, what number did you use? I'm having the same problems- very difficult as I'm on call this morning so having to swap to an old battered phone.

I can't tell if it's a problem with the service or my phone, as it's been intermittant the last day or so

Re: Not registered on Network

What i did with this problem,

Open "SIM Toolkit" apk

Then "Roaming"

Select "Automatic"

Wait for sim restart (1-2sec)

Should be ok. Works fine for me
