Not happy with Sky Trade In
I paid my IPhone 14 Pro Max 256 off and decided to trade it in with Sky Trade in . I sent it off on the 9th via special delivery . I didn't hear anything . My fella posted his (he is with o2 ) at the same time. It went to the same place . He got a text on 14 November saying basically that they have the phone and his payment is being processed . I got a email from Sky saying that they don't have the phone .
I emailed them and phoned them asking what is happening and told them of all the details with tracking numbers .
Today 16 November I got an email from sky telling me that their has been a change in the quote and offering £0.00 , that's shocking 🤬🤬 . They say it doesn't turn on . I don't know why as it was in perfect condition and turned on before I sent it . Not sure what has happened, I'm livid . Has this happened to anyone else ?
I have emailed them basically refusing their offer and want my phone back . I hope the issue is that it's just needs charging up .. If not I don't know what I'm going to do . Just not happy . Not a great start to my holiday ..

When you get it back and if it does need charging either get back to Sky Trade in about this to see what they say or perhaps sell it privately elsewhere.

I've done the same with my iPhone 13 Pro, sent it away in perfect working order and they've changed the quote by £200 claiming there is a camera fault. Well there wasn't when it left here. I too have asked for it to be returned.

I'm not impressed with them so far. I might try to sell elsewhere . You can only get in touch with Sky trade in via email only . Not sure even if they have received my last email . They have ruined my holiday over worrying about my phone .

im totally confused of what is going on with me . I suddenly got an email to say they are paying the full amount now . Mind I have been on the phone trying to sort things out. Got told they only deal with swop via the phone . The trade in got to email them . It has put a dampener on my holiday with all the worrying . Thankyou for replying to my post .
