I'm not sure of the significance of the event unless you mean there are more users for the local masts.

I assume the festival means many more people are in the area and the network is overloaded. Networks sometimes deploy temporary masts at large events/festivals etc to compensate for this.
Sky uses O2 which suffers from congestion in lots of area even at normal times (and at Glastonbury last week O2 were the only network not to deploy temporary masts).

@GD1 The festival probably cause issues with capacity due to the infux of an extra 20,000ish people and the amount of equipment will probably have some effect.
@Damosuperblues It might not be what you want to hear but Sky can't do anything about it as they don't own the mast, o2 won't do anything due to it not being an ongoing daily issue.
