No internet connection when tethering.

Please help...

I can't get an internet connection when tethering to my laptop. The Wifi signal is there but no internet.  I've searched for a solution and it looks like I need to reset my Mobile Data settings and request new APN settings.  I have done everything I can but when I request the settings, nothing has come through to my device.

I logged in and went to 'Resend Network Settings'  which said 'To connect to the Sky network at home or abroad, you'll need the correct APN data settings. We can send a notification with the right settings straight to your device.'

It says it's been sent but nothing has come through.

I'm at the end of my tether (if you'll pardon the pun)!

So the link eventually came through and updated on my phone but there is still no internet when I tether to my laptop.  I don't know what else it can be.

Does anyone have a clue?

Hi @JayneSmiff  what phone are you using ? Is it a windows laptop ?

It looks like the signal is just really poor where I am staying. 

It's an iPhone 12 and Windows laptop.
