I have just received my iPad Pro 2024 11 inch.
I have been given a physical sim, however can't active it, as there's no phone number needed as this device is an iPad.
I need to change this an eSIM but can't seem to find out how to request for this to be changed.

Hi,
thank you but no that doesn't work.
I was advised to buy a sim for my iPad, however I don't want to change my current sim or mobile number for my phone that I have with sky. I am unsure as to why a sim for an iPad is needing me to "keep or change" my existing number, as I don't have an existing number for an iPad ?
I brought the sim so that I could use the iPad off wifi at times, but I'm now also being told I can only use an eSIM for iPads
any help is appreciated

Hi,
I haven't yet as I don't want it to interfere with my current phone sim.
currently it's showing as two separate.
Thanks

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreHi @AbbiHopkins if the new sim is showing as ready for activation then activate it. Make sure you activate it as a new sim not a replacement sim. Then once activated you can just put that in your iPad or then convert it to an esim.
