New phone ordered

I have just ordered a new phone with sky with a new plan I wanted to keep the same number with the new plan and cancel the old plan is that possible

There are two ways to do this, call Sky to see if they will apply this plan to the sim you have already got, if so when the new sim turns up do not activate it then it will be cancelled.

If they will not do this, then activate the new sim, get a pac code for the sim you already have and transfer to a PAYG network then on the PAYG network get another pac code to transfer the number to the new Sky sim.
