24 month contract but 36 month agreement

I've not bought yet because I've picked a 24 month contract but the agreement says 36 months. Can anyone clarify why the two are different and which one I'll be tied in for?

Hello. Did you find out the answer to this as I've had the same issue?

The link posted by @Daniel0210 explains this.

Swap24 is a 36 month contract as what the 24 part means is at 24 months you can swap your device for another one if you want.
