New contract says 24month

New contract says 24mth when looking but 36 on credit agreement

Any ideas why this is and do you pay the 24mth cost and then the 12mth cost in the 3rd year?

Thanks

@Gemma2003  It means you can swap the phone after 24 months or keep it and continue to pay for it during the remaining 12 months sometimes at a reduced rate

the info below might also help

36-month contract (Swap24)

With Swap24, you can swap your phone, tablet or laptop after 24 months at no extra cost, as long as it’s in good condition. This is because the value of your old device should cover what’s left to pay on your device contract (credit agreement).

You can swap before 24 months*, but if the value of your old device isn’t enough to pay off the remaining amount on your device contract, then there will be an amount left to pay. This amount will need to be paid off in full on your next bill after your swap is complete. Or you can pay it off before then by making a one-off Debit or Credit card payment

We’ll let you know the estimated value before you place your order. And we'll confirm this once we’ve got your device back and checked it for any damage.

Already paid off your device? See the Out of contract details below.

*With an Apple MacBook, you can only Swap after 24 months with Swap24 up until the end of your contract.
