New SIM

My son has just upgraded to a new phone and plan but cannot activate his new sim card - he already had a SIM only with sky - will the new sim card work automatically or can he still keep his original sim?

Activating any new SIM will create an additional plan with a new number.

 

Simply move the existing SIM from old to new phone...

I don't have a new contract just changed my sim  still want to keep with sky and same number

You can't use a Pac code to move a number from one Sky sim to another Sky sim so you have a few options.

 

You could call Sky to ask them to cancel this new sim you activated and then use the one you have in your new phone.

 

You could either use the sim you have or if you want to transfer the number you have to the new sim then you would need to use a Pac code to transfer your current sim number to a PAYG network and then use another pac code you get from them to transfer it back to your new Sky sim.
