New Contract
Trying to take out a new contract but once I clicked checkout, everything locks up and I cannot go any further

Have you tried using a different web browser, if you have and the same happens then calling will be the only way to get the order placed.
150 is the free number to use from a Sky Mobile or Sky Talk phone otherwise under "Need more help ?" link at the bottom of the page on this link is the number to call Sky on:
Try saying nothing when spoken to by the bot.
