Have you hit your spend cap as it works out really expensive to use your mobile in India:

Roaming charges count towards your monthly spend cap. If your spend cap is set too low or set to £0, it will block you from using your phone abroad. To use data, calls and texts while you're away, check your spend cap limit at sky.com/spendcap.
