Need to change sim to a eSIM

I have lost my SIM card how do I change the number into a eSIM

The alternative would be to contact Sky to ask them to send you a replacement sim that will have the same number as the lost one.

Tried this but they need a security code but I can't access this as ive lost the SIM card, I tried phoning but the call just took me straight back to the helpline which doesn't help me
