Morocco charges

  • can someone look at the Sky tariff and confirm I'm reading it correctly. I'm going to Morocco, my understanding from the guide is that I can use my data at a cost of £2 per day along with calls to and from the UK but if I wish to make a call to/from Morocco or another international country it will cost the relevant price in the international call charges.

Yes, the £2 RPP gives you 24 hours access to your UK package.  (Subject to the overall 25GB data roaming fair usage).

Calls to the UK are inclusive.  But if you make a call to Morocco (or another non-UK number) then you are charged at International rates (expensive).

@TMB72

Morocco very recently joined as a Roaming Plus destination.

For Morocco it should cost you £2 for each 24 hours use of your home allowance.

You need to ensure roaming and mobile data are turned on in your phone settings and it will kick in when you send a text, make a call or use a small amount of data. Set any spend cap to cover the total number of days you are there. Remember that calls to local numbers are charged extra at international rates and there is now a limit on data use of 25GB per billing period, after which Sky can charge you an extra £2.50 per GB or even suspend your useage duel to overuse.
