Mobile

On Sunday morning 09:45 I had to place an order to replace my current mobile device. During the process I asked the agent several times whether the device will be delivered to my address (IN THE UK) during Monday the following day. On each occasion I asked the question the agent responded YES. Now Monday afternoon, I have made several calls to SKY and logged a formal complaint and as of  RIGHT now 15:03 GMT I have not received an update from Skyy as to the delivery of the device or an update on the complaint I have raised.

 

I should have just walked into a mobile store and purchased the handset I wanted rather than be treated with the utmost disrespect.

 

Poor service.

I'm afraid ordering at a weekend has the added issue that the relevant credit checks take longer. The most up to date information on your particular order should become available at:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/track-sky-order

When your order is ready you should get an email from Sky, and then another from the courier (usually DPD) which will have details of your 1 hour delivery time slot. We have no insight into the timescales.

 

And you won't get an outcome to a complaint in such a short space of time.

My issue, is the agent stated several times that I would get the device today when I asked, several times whether the device would be delivered today.

Hi @Dawgpound  not the first time a sales person will say something in order to get a sale. If you have made a formal complaint all you can now do is wait for the response from sky or cancel the order and go elsewhere.
