Mobile Deposit

I placed a mobile order and paid a £75 deposit. Sky cancelled the order without warning and have never told me why. They still have my £75 despite sending several letters to customer services. How do I get my £75 back?

How long ago was this order cancelled as usually with 3 weeks it should have been refunded, if it has been longer then you might want to fill in this form to register a complaint:

@Fellowes  Upfront payments are refunded within 14 days of order cancellation

It sounds like you may have failed the required credit check(s). See this link for Skys guidance ~

If you contact Sky they would be able to confirm that’s the reason your order was cancelled but not why you failed the credit check in the first place as they are not allowed to view your credit record. You would have to sign up to a credit reference agency like Experian or Equifax, which would give you access to your credit record.

The payment was made on the 19th November and no it has not been refunded, as I check everyday.

Have you tried calling Sky:

 

150 is the free number to use from a phone that has a Sky mobile sim in it or Sky Talk phone otherwise under "Need more help ?" link at the bottom of the page on this link is the number to call Sky on:

Try saying nothing when spoken to by the bot.

I am not with Sky, what part of they cancelled my order but kept my £75, did you not read?

As @caesarome has mentioned you will have to call Sky to chase up the reimbursement.

 

So if you don't have another Sky mobile or a Sky Talk landline use this link:

UK customers: Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and a dedicated 03** UK number is displayed.
ROI customers: change the flag in the bottom right corner of the link to the ROI flag then scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a dedicated 0818 ROI number.
(The forum doesn’t allow us to type the numbers in full).

Similar to calling other large companies the start will be automated which may also try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and don’t hang up. If necessary say nothing when the automated system asks you what your call is about as it should then route your call into a queue for the next available agent.

I certainly did which is why I said:

Calling them will be the only way to chase them up about this.
