I have been travelling up to Manchester a lot recently for work and everytime I get into the accommodation although my phone shows full 4G and I can make phone calls I cannot access the internet.
Phoned husband who logged into the Sky account from home and they have just said they are working on the issue in the area and will get back in touch in 48 hours, 5 days then7 days. It seems to come back on in the morning for an hour or two then gone again.
If I stand outside and up the road a bit it seems to return but is very slow.
This is proving terribly inconvenient and I am facing having a zoom meeting standing out in the rain and snow when I go back next week.
I was thinking of perhaps getting an eSim for a fixed period like those used by tourists - a 5 day plan for $11 or $12.
Anyone got any other suggestions? I have tried hanging off the balcony (10th floor) without success.
