Mobile Bill Debt
Hello,
wondering if someone here can help. I recently fell behind with my Sky bill and the debt was passed along to CCS. I set up a payment plan before Sky totally cancelled my account. I have now paid the full balance CCS needed to collect from me and the balance on their site even shows £0.00. When checking my Sky Mobile account i saw there was still a £230 needed to pay. Sky are making it almost impossible for me to manage this. Do I pay CCS or do i pay them? directly? because it seems even though CCS was to recover my debt, Sky has still been putting up the charges. I would call but they cut my phone off, chat bot is not useful, so this is my last resort.
Thank you.

Re: Mobile Bill Debt
@Adam976 Maybe a Superuser can escalate this to the online support team, if they deal with this kind of thing?

Re: Mobile Bill Debt
@Adam976
If you’re in arrears for 56+ days Sky can fully terminate your subscription which could be the case here. Debts aren't passed to companies such as CCS Collect until other avenues have been attempted.
It may be that the £230 is the balance still owed on the actual device you had on credit. If that is the case Sky would expect that in one payment.
edit: once a debt has been passed to a debt recovery company there's very little Sky can do other than confirm the amount due and name and contact details for the relevant company.

I'm afraid not @Anonymous as this isn't something they can help with.

Re: Mobile Bill Debt
@caesarome It's why I posed it as a question. I don't know what they can or can't handle. Thanks.

Re: Mobile Bill Debt
In this case i had until a certain date to set up a payment plan before Sky cancelled my contract. I did that and paid the debt in full and that's where i see now i have an extra £230 on the Sky app, on top of what i have paid CCS. The app is still giving me the option of paying the full amount or paying partial. But at this rate i'll never catch up if Sky just keeps adding charges. I will be able to pay the full amount next month assuming Sky doesn't add more charges or pass the debt to CCS again.
