Mobile Application Rejected
I have been a Sky TV customer for over five years, and I've just tried to take out a Sky Mobile contract. My application went through, then three minutes later I got an email saying it had been rejected. Please advise on what I should do.

@Peter5962 There isn't really that much you can do, you may want to check your credit report to make sure all the details held are correct.
Being a Sky TV customer would have no bearing on you being accepted for credit.

I've just called and been told I can't have a mobile contract because I have Sky TV... wha...?

Having a TV subscription doesn't prevent you having a mobile… a failed credit check will. Emails confirming or cancelling the order sometimes arrive out of sequence. See this link for Skys guidance ~

Be aware that if you keep trying to order the device this could further impact your credit score.
Any upfront payment you’ve made should be refunded after about 14 days but recent posts suggest it’s taking a bit longer in which case you’ll need to call Sky to chase it up.
