Massive data loss

I have tried to reach out to sky regarding my new SIM for my mobile. This went lice today at 12.05 on a 40gb plan but this evening even though I'm on WiFi, I have used 20gb!! This is impossible as I only ever used between 4/6gb each month on my old provider! Any ideas Please 🥺

When you activate a new SIM you are allocated a prorata amount of data until the billing date.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

When your data resets which will be on your billing date then going forward you will have the full allowance each month.
