MacBook and SIM card order
Ordered a MacBook and sim contract on 31 August, Tracking link given, stated delivery Monday 1st September, no delivery. Checked tracking to see at 06:17 "Return to consigner has been requested". Parcel still showing at depot, no delivery on Tuesday 2nd. Contact DPD they stated SKY had requested the parcel to be returned for reasons unknown. Contacted sky 5 times, spoke to 7 different people, was called back once then hung up on. In my final call they stated I had refused delivery when the parcel had never left the delivery facility, Sky stated they would not ever recall the delivery, was told I would have to pay a one of payment again to get another MacBook sent in 2 days and wait for a refund for 3-5 days of my initial payment to be refunded. In the end I thought this is just not worth the hassle and asked to cancel the whole thing, I was then met with a poor attitude from the call handler and when he asked for my reasons to cancel I stated due to the appalling service from SKY and he would kit accept and tried again to say I had refused delivery or it was DPDs fault. Very very poor and I am considering cancelling my other services I have with sky

Re: MacBook and SIM card order
The usual reason Skybrequest a device to be returned to them like this is because the second deeper credit check has not been past. Quite why nobody has mentioned this to you I wouldn't know. Any payments you have already made towards it should be refunded within a few weeks.

Re: MacBook and SIM card order
Thanks for the reply, I had no idea of this, no email to say so not one person mentioned this on the numerous phone calls either. As stated I was even offered to pay again and have another device sent out to me. Very disappointed in the service.
