I lost my phone and contacted Sky to have it blocked on Thursday evening. Later that night I found the phone and it was all still working and didn't seem to be blocked at all. I contacted sky again the following morning to unblock it, which they said that they did. Later that day the phone stopped connecting to the network. The next morning, it was still not connecting, and I contacted Sky again, they said that it wasnt blocked and that there might be a network issue (there was never connectivity issues before). It's now end of day Saturday and it's still not connecting - approx 48hrs after requesting a block, and about 36hrs after requesting an unblock.
Any ideas what to try next? Might the handset be non-blacklisted, but the SIM blacklisted?

Thanks for the reply.
I think it may have just been a matter of time. We restarted the phone again and it connected ok. So it looks like 48h is a realistic timeframe for an unblock to take effect, and to keep trying to restart the phone as it looks like it might take that to force the device to try again and register on the network.

I guess it could be so do you have another sim that you could try in it from another family member to see if it works ?
