Linking mobile account to Sky ID

I am new to sky mobile and just started a contract. It has told me to link my Sky ID to my mobile account but every time I enter my surname, postcode and last 6 digits of account number it's says incorrect even though I have checked multiple times that I have done it correctly and it still doesn't work.
