@JoeW94 which iphone did you order?

In my case I never received any type of update other than when I saw my order status change to something other than a on back order at 11pm. Can't remember what it was but half an hour later I received an email to say that the phone would be delivered the next day.
I ordered the silver 128 pro max on 12th October and it was delivered on 15th November.

Just got told that because the phones get sent out in batches to people on backorder, there is another batch coming soon and my phone is 100% in that batch. They said I'd definitely receive it before the 7th so fingers crossed 🤞

I ordered my iphone 14 pro max 256gb deep purple on the 12th of nov and it was expected delivery between 2-3 weeks as I'm nearing the end of the 3rd week which will end on the 3rd of dec would it be realistic to assume my iphone will be here before the 3rd?

Just comes up with this:
Thanks for checking online first. Getting in touch might take longer than usual, but we’re prioritising calls from customers who’ve already been online. Thank you in advance for being kind and considerate to our team.
On the Sky app it says 'Currently on back order'

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIt is probably saying back order as there are major delays on all things iphone on all networks so not just Sky as this is down to issue's at Apple's factory in China being closed and now working at a reduced output due to Covid:

"We continue to see strong demand for iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models. However, we now expect lower iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max shipments than we previously anticipated and customers will experience longer wait times to receive their new products." - Apple

Oh, I've heard about the lockdown didnt realise it was affecting Apple at all. Would you happen to know or have any idea on when shipments should start coming through? I was hopefully expecting to have the phone before the 10th ideally as another family member has ordered directly from apple and they have an expected delivery date of the 22nd of dec.

Not a clue as I am a customer like you so I don't think any supplier including Sky can say for sure about these shipments.
