I ordered the same phone on 12th October. It should have been delivered today but I re-arranged for tomorrow.

Around what time did everyone's order status change from back order to "order in process/dispatch" etc.? I ordered on 12th of Nov... I hope it comes before Christmas. You'd think that every time they order they'd come in batches so even if it can take 4 weeks don't they have left over phones from the previous batch as it's clearly rotating every 4 weeks or do they just order enough for the people that have ordered?

I ordered the iPhone 14 pro max 512gb in purple about 8 days ago. At the time they said 2-3 weeks, but since then the website has shown 1-2 weeks and 4-6 weeks... does anyone have any idea if I'll still be waiting the original 2-3 week timescale or if it's going to be 6 now? My current phone is gonna break before then! 😂

@camerakate when I ordered the space black 512gb it said 4-6 weeks but I checked yesterday and it said 1-2 weeks so I was feeling hopeful and then today it's changed again

@mjay00 yeah me too when I saw the 1-2 week estimate. I have a feeling it's going to be the new year though.. When I ordered with Sky over the phone I was told 2-3 weeks, if not earlier. Beginning to doubt it.. not that it's their fault. But I would've ordered the 1TB version if I'd known it would arrive quicker, they talked me out of it because they said it's an obscene amount of storage haha

I bought mine online, I don't get why the 1TB is quicker or is that their way of just making you spend more money and then waiting 6 weeks for it to arrive. I would have done the 1TB as well if I knew they were readily available:/

I also checked Apple and the 1TB version takes the same amount of time as the others too regardless of colour (estimated delivery time is 23rd of December if ordered today).

@mjay00 says on the Sky website that the 1TB version is 1-2 weeks currently! I don't know, I'm confused. I'm usually quite a patient person but my current phone is about to give up on me and I need it to get the train to work 😂

Hi, 

I am wondering how are people finding the "phone on backorder" situation ? 

Mine says 4-6 weeks, how accurate could that be ? I know there is currently a shotage etc etc but how likely is it that I could still recieve my handset before Christmas ? 

Has anyone before me had this phone ordered on "backorder" and if so, when did you recieve it ? 

I`m not in a rush , I have a working device but it will be a little Chrismast gift fom myself to myself 🙂

I've spoken to Sky a few times and been told it definitely won't be later than 7th December for mine, so I shouldn't wait any longer than another 3 weeks maximum. I really hope it isn't any longer as my phone is on the brink of breaking.

I can see that choosing the 256gb in space black instead of the 128gb brings the delivery time down to 2-3 weeks, seriously considering to cancel the current order and re-orderin..

@K.Chechelska I ordered the pro max 128gb in deep purple. I ordered on the 26th October, so 3 weeks ago today exactly. 

When did you order? 

I tried switching mine to a different colour/storage but they ran a new credit check first without cancelling my first order and wanted £120 extra upfront. They said there was no guarantee if cancelling the first order would mean I wouldn't need to pay the upfront cost for a new order so I just stuck with it.

@JoeW94  So i actually ordered 2 days ago , right, that might be bit problematic, I guess i will just stick with what I have on the account which is 4-6 weeks, as long as it comes within around 5 weeks, thats still in time for christmas.
