Keeping mobile number

Hi I am just in the process of activating a new SIM card. I have sent you my PAC code from previous supplier to keep my old number. I have just received a text saying my  number will be changed on Monday to a different number. I did not want to do this. Can you let me know I'll be keeping my old number?

many thanks

You're not contacting Sky customer services here - just other customers.

If you want to keep your number from another provider then applying a PAC code will do this - but personally I'd wait until 2025 given they are not processed over weekends and bank holidays.

You can continue using your old SIM or activate the Sky SIM and do the transfer later.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own

Your Sky sim does come with a new number so when the number transfer goes through on Monday the number you want transferred with replace this temporary one which might what this text is referring to.
