Good morning. I have recently upgraded my iPhone from an 11 Pro Max to a 16 Pro Max as has my wife.
However, whilst going through the process of connecting the new 16 Pro Max to our Sky Broadband Router after having backed up the old phone to iCloud., I noticed that ICON in the top righthand corner of the screen (which indicates that the device is connected to broadband and provides the signal strength) disappeared when the phone was at the latter stages of its start-up sequence.
I also noticed in the ‘Settings’ menu under ‘Wi-Fi,’ that everything appeared to be normal with the blue ‘check’ tick present to indicate that the phone is connected to the house Wi-Fi – which it definitely is not.
My wife has also made the same upgrade and I have done a side-by-side comparison of the set-up for the two phones and cannot see any anomalies that might affect the Wi-Fi connection, hence why I am hoping that someone will be able to help?
Thank you.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreHave you tried rebooting your router?
(There's a chance the phone is 'faulty' if it won't maintain a WiFi connection - but worth testing with another WiFi if you can)

Hi, good afternoon and thank you for your advice. As suggested I will give the Sky Router a reboot and see what happens as I'm a big believer in "nothing ventured, nothing gained!"
