Keep device but change data

My data coverage and signal has been incredibly poor recently, with sometimes only 1 bar of signal and 3G. Does anyone know if I can keep my device contract as I've still got quite a while left but change to a different company for my data plan without sky charging me anything?

You are free to either cancel the sim or transfer your number to a different network if you have had the sim for 12 months or more.
